• Nekrolog, 1962. ² Lawrence G. Albertson, 68, died Tuesday in the Spencer Hospital. Funeral services will be today in the Peet Chapel, at 2:00 p.m. with Russell Simon officiating.
Mr. Albertson was born December 10, 1894 in Denmark. He came to the United States aboard the Lucitania in 1915. He has been a resident of this vicinity for 43 years. In his youth he was a sheep herder and unfortunately stricken with tick fever [flåtfeber] 35 years ago. Since then he has been completely invalid. He has no known relatives in this country.
(The News article is incorrect as he had 4 brothers 2 in Iowa one that died in San Joaquin California and one that died in Springfield Missouri) They believed he went to Nebraska in the 1930's to pick up a car and was killed.
